There is magic here, although we are less than five miles from the University town of Aberystwyth, coming onto the farm is like stepping out of time. It is very peaceful but not quiet. In Springtime you hear the ewes calling to their new born lambs. The valley holds the sounds of young birds practising first flights followed by their panicking parents in early summer and the call of owls on frosty winters evenings. The winds range from spookily silent for days to roaring like a freight train down the valley and in the littlest cottage, there is always the sound of the sea.
